Step 1:
Roof pitch correction
We'll start by checking your roof has a pitch of at least 4 degrees. This allows water to run off easily, eliminating issues with water pooling and subsequent surface damage. If required, our team can correct the pitch of your roof before proceeding.
Step 2:
Cleaning your roof
To ensure proper adhesion of a SprayCork coating, your roof should be clean and dry with any debris removed. A jet wash may be needed to remove excess debris, after we'll allow your roof to fully dry.
Step 3:
Access
Our team will make sure that access is safe so we can complete the job to the highest possible standards. This may include scaffolding and safety barriers.
Step 4:
Masking up
Next, masking tape will be applied to any areas that don't need coating. This will avoid any accidental overspray and retain clean lines for a flawless finish to your roof coating.
Step 5:
Spray
Time to spray on your roof coating. As approved applicators, we'll apply SprayCork with a smooth, uniform finish. The cork-based coating is aesthetically pleasing, thermally insulative and weather-resistant as well as reducing sound internally.
